Farm Walks Support World Mental Health Day 2019

At Little Rowater, we find the outdoors, being surrounded by nature and working with animals really therapeutic and acknowledge that connecting with nature is a great was to aid mental health and well being.

With this in mind, and in recognition of World Mental Health Day 2019, we opened up the farm on Saturday 12th October, inviting members of the public to join us for a farm walk  and to meet our lovable animals.  A sunset walk walk allowed visitors to hear our stags roar as the day drew to a close.

We were totally overwhelmed by the local support and really enjoyed having so many visitors on the farm.  We also raised the brilliant sum of £100.26 for Turning point Scotland in Banff from donations for tea/coffee and cupcakes donated by Littlefield Farm Shop.

Members of the public are welcome to visit the farm at anytime, by prior arrangement – we love to share our farming passion!  Please get in touch for availability and to arrange a visit.
