Our Belted Galloway cattle were the first stock to move in to Little Rowater.

Striking and immediately recognisable, Belted Galloways are a native Scottish breed, developed to thrive in the uplands of Dumfries and Galloway. This has led to them being hardy and low maintenance cattle which are good natured excellent mothers, easy calving all year round, and, despite being relatively slow growing, they finish very well on a grass only diet.

Generally finished between 30 and 36 months, the meat from our Belted Galloway cattle is well marbled and extremely tasty.
